Our Goal:
The LUNENBURG SKATE PARK has the singular mission of raising the necessary capital resources to construct a permanent, concrete, skate, scooter and BMX facility. The skate park, will be approximately 10k square feet and include a variety of obstacles and features that will cater to a wide range of disciplines and skill levels. This park will be a community asset for youth both in the Town of Lunenburg as well as the overall region. The goal this project to provide a safe recreational resource for area youth to enjoy. This asset will provide youth with a healthy outdoor alternative to other less desirable choices, such as video games, vaping, drinking and drug use.
OUR WORK HAPPENS IN THE SCHOOLS, CONFERENCE ROOMS, ON THE STREETS, AND AT THE SKATEPARK.
Through this project, THE LUNENBURG SKATE PARK has created a community of fearless leaders through mentoring, opportunity, and action. Through mentorship and action sports culture, THE LUNENBURG SKATE PARK youth to reach their fullest potential, instilling passion, resilience and determination.
Deeply rooted in our community, the LUNENBURG SKATE PARK works to close the wheeled sports facility access gap to enable all enjoy.
